Powell Corderoy Primary School

Powell Corderoy Primary School

We are proud to be a values-led school that is not afraid to do things differently. From day one, children feel welcome, valued and listened to. This strong sense of belonging builds confidence, resilience and ambition, encouraging pupils to strive for excellence, embrace challenges and believe in their ability to succeed.

We have high expectations of all our children, believing that every pupil can reach their full potential when learning is purposeful, supportive and appropriately challenging.

Learning at Powell Corderoy is engaging, meaningful and memorable. Our project-based curriculum is enriched by real-life experiences, trips and events, making the most of our beautiful setting beside The Nower. With our own on-site Forest School, outdoor learning is a natural part of school life, supported by our activewear uniform, which allows children to move freely, explore confidently and learn through hands-on experiences.

Beyond the classroom, children are given opportunities to be part of our wider community. Through shared events and celebrations, they develop pride in themselves and their school and an understanding of how they can contribute both locally and globally.

A warm welcome awaits you at Powell Corderoy...
There's no better way to find out what makes Powell Corderoy so special than to come and see it yourself!

We'd be delighted to show you around, to give you a flavour of everyday life in school, introduce you to our wonderful staff and pupils, and answer any questions you might have. Please email head@pcps.uk to arrange a tour.
